Congestive heart disease:Congestive heart disease is often known as congestive heart failure (CHF), does not exactly mean that heart has stopped working but this means the inefficient pumping of heart to supply freshly oxygenated blood to the body. Congestive heart failure develops slowly that gradually weakens the heart. Sometimes we are unaware of the increasing risk as symptoms are not very obvious. Weak pumping action of the heart builds a fluid called congestion in the lungs and other tissues of the body thereby giving

Congestive heart disease or failure can be diagnosed with a stethoscope, x-ray, ECG or echocardiography. Once diagnosed, doctors can determine the disease and accordingly treat it. Surgery is not the only option available. Simple treatment begins by changing your lifestyle. This means that changing all factors like diet, and avoiding alcohol, smoking or doing heart exercises that will keep your heart healthy. Congestive heart disease can be treated by prescribing certain useful drugs that reduce the risk. Sometimes congestive heart failure might be a serious problem so to avoid the fatal risk its better to see a specialist as soon as possible once any of the symptoms are observed. Also surgery can be performed to treat any major effects.
